THE LIVE ROOM
In here we record ensembles who like to be together in one space. This is also where rehearsals take place. We invite you to consider both of these scenarios. Play in the space and/or Record in the space.
Bring your band, practice without bothering anybody or being bothered. If you guys like they way the rehearsal is going, come back in record a couple of songs. Want to learn how to record a full band? Find a band and bring it to that space! We encourage initiative. We are here to support you as you push yourself to practice new skills, learn, and grow.
COURSES
Our latest offering is a comprehensive 10-week exploration of all the fundamental principles required to create professional sound recordings.
Each week you get a quick video to put a few ideas into your mind, in anticipation of your session class. The active learning happens during your weekly 90 minute session with Nico, our lead engineer. He will demonstrate principles you should understand. More importantly he will teach you to hear those technical words, so that you understand why they matter to you as a music maker.
INTERNSHIPS
SUMMER 2025
Monday June 16th to Monday August 18th.
(Also offered Saturday of the same week as an additional option flexible scheduling)
We love and cherish our interns! We are welcoming and giving by nature but we also believe it is our duty to nurture future generations of music makers. As a result we expect from our interns the same level of focus, self-motivation, curiosity and care we put in everything we do.
We offer Two Paths for interns. As a high school student I recommend the first path. Although now might not be the right time for the second path, you should be aware it exists. It might be the right thing for you years from now. The offer will still be on the table. : )
